When I'm not feeling particularly creative, I create backgrounds, die cut a bunch of flowers or stamp lots of sentiments. This past week I did bubble blowing backgrounds. I used some watercolor (1 part), Dawn soap (1 part) and about 3 parts water in a plastic cup. If you google "bubble painting" you'll find many videos and recipes for this technique. I also used heavy weight cardstock cut into 4.25"x5.5" pieces. I die cut one of my pieces for the flower and another for the leaves for my TicTacToe Challenge card for this week.
supplies: SSS etched magnolia blossom die; SSS magnolia embossing folder; SSS olive leaves; Memory Box Signature Greetings; Royal Langnickel watercolor
After adding the flowers, enamel dots and sentiment to the embossed background, I sprayed it all with some sparkle mist.
Hope you'll join our challenge this week with this fun board Joanne created for us. I went diagonally from left to right with die cut, flowers and enamel dots.
Betty... I think I told you how much I love this magnolia... but seeing it up close the bit of sparkle is fabulous!
