A very last minute entry for CAS Mix-Up where the challenge is watercolor and things with wings.
I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper with tattered rose distress ink refill. Just messed around with it until I liked the result. Die cut the large butterfly and the lacy one and cut them in half. Embossed the front of the card base and another piece, matched it up and then spattered with more tattered rose. Added my butterfly, sentiment and a few enamel dots and done.
Thanks for visiting today and always love to read your kind comments.
So pretty Betty. Such a lovely colour scheme.

ReplyDeleteSo interesting (in the best way) your half butterfly. Love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolored butterfly, Betty. I love your CAS design by just using 1/2 of your butterfly and adding the splatters. The dry embossed background was wonderful texture too. So pleased you were able to join us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs...Nancy
