WATERCOLORS
Virginia Lu has created a new challenge on her
blog -
to use watercoloring on a card. So today I created some watercolor backgrounds with distress inks - mostly by just stamping the inks on my craft sheet, adding water and then smushing the watercolor paper into the inks. I dried the paper with my heat gun and then ironed it on the back with a dry iron to get it flattened. The first one is my favorite.
I purposely offset the leaf cutout to give it a bit more definition.
I had the colors from
Fusion's latest challenge in mind when I made the Easter card.
