WATERCOLORS

Virginia Lu has created a new challenge on her blog -
to use watercoloring on a card.  So today I created some watercolor backgrounds with distress inks - mostly by just stamping the inks on my craft sheet, adding water and then smushing the watercolor paper into the inks.  I dried the paper with my heat gun and then ironed it on the back with a dry iron to get it flattened.  The first one is my favorite.
I purposely offset the leaf cutout to give it a bit more definition.

I had the colors from Fusion's latest challenge in mind when I made the Easter card.

Card 1 Supplies:
Stamps: HA Italian Poetry; Technique Tuesday sentiment; PTI Meadow Greens
Inks: Ranger Distress victorian velvet and pumice stone: HA cup o' joe
Paper: HA layering paper PS697

Card 2 Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Mum's the Word: HA sentiment
Inks: Ranger Distress victorian velvet
Other: HA layering paper; HA embossing powder; Doodlebug enamel dots;

Card 3 Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Year Round Happiness
Inks: Ranger Distress broken china & tumbled glass
Paper: PP from MME In Bloom; HA watercolor paper
Dies: PTI Beautiful Blooms II #1; Provocraft leaves: PTI Happy

Thanks for looking and your kind comments.  Betty
