My card today is for the current Make-It-Monday challenge where Laurie demonstrated making a shadow background.
I used a large mum (discontinued PTI stamp) which I colored with my copics. For the background I stamped two smaller mums with some soft brown ink, spattered with some acrylic white paint (my first time spattering with acrylics and made sort of a mess which I was able to cover up tho) and Nuvo drops. The colored mum is popped up with the leaves behind. Added orange Nuvo drops to the center of the mum, the little sentiment and done.
Thanks for stopping by and always love to read your kind comments.
Wowzer, Betty--this is fabulous! Perfect image to use for the shadow technique & your colored mum is a stunner! Finally finished my card--now to do a post.
