In our little challenge between Greta, Cat and myself, Greta challenged us to use stitching as part of the Hero Arts March crafting challenge.  I used to love doing counted cross stitch, but haven't done it in years since I've started making cards.  Last fall, Greta gave me two MFT tag cross stitch die cuts and this was the perfect opportunity to use them.

I don't know where the pattern for this is from - think it was something I saw on Pinterest but can no longer find it - sorry I can't give credit where due.

Stitched my little bunny using three strands of floss.  Made a frame for him and filled the gap on the bottom with flowers (the opening from the frame was larger than the tag part).  I made the same bunny in pink for Cat.  Now Greta is going to have to cut some more of these tags for me as I had such fun doing this.

My card is for week 4 - Any Craft Goes.  I'm also adding my card to Virginia's Show and Share.

Thanks for stopping by today and love to read your kind comments.

  1. Oh how adorable & creative, Betty! Love how you framed your bunny & added the little flowers--gotta case you!

  2. Betty, you are so on the ball...I haven't even started the challenge yet. That bunny is darned cute I have to say. Love your stitching.

  3. Cute, just very cute. I find it interesting that many others, who now create cards, once were into counted thread cross stitch. I stitched "umpteen" linen cross stitch samplers of my designs and designs from others! Who knows how many are out there with my initials?? LOL!

  4. Just gorgeous. Great challenge between you two.

  5. This is oh so fun and cute!! Cool to have a challenge between the three of you. :)

  6. This is so cute, Betty! Your cross-stitching is awesome in this! So glad that you join the fun with my “Show & Share”! WONDERFUL!

  7. Your bunny is so sweet and I love how you added the blooms! Such a lovely Easter card, Betty!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave comments - they make my day!
