I have been having some fun simply watercoloring flowers which I have die cut from watercolor paper.  Thought the one on my card today looked rather like a daisy.

Made the shaker using my new HA wood frame die and also some HA sequins.   Added the little sentiment and a few more sequins to the flower center and done.

Am entering this in ATS CAS challenge where the code word is "daisy", Virginia's Show and Share, and CASology #348 where the code word is "shimmer" (lots of shimmer in those sequins with white space and one focal point).

I am sending this card to my granddaughter, Katie, who lives in London, England.  She and her volleyball partner won the first ever female gold medal for England at the NEZVA (Northern European Zone Volleyball Association) Beach Volleyball Championships this past Sunday in Sweden.

Katie is on the left - she's 16.  I'm so proud of her!!

Thanks for visiting today and always love to read your kind comments.

  1. The perfect card for Katie--what an accomplishment for your beautiful granddaughter! You're inspiring me to watercolor some die cuts like you've been doing! You're making those HA frames show how great they are!

  2. Your die cut flower shaker is so very sweet Betty! And thanks for the volleyball share, you must be so proud of her, what a wonderful achievement!

  3. Oh Betty, this shaker is such a darling card. Love the yellows and the daisy.

  4. Beautiful card Betty and a big congratulation to your granddaughter.

  5. Another beautiful shaker card, Betty! Your daisy is so sweet and I love all the sparkly sequins! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Addicted to CAS!
Big congrats to your granddaughter on her accomplishments in volleyball! I know you are bursting with pride and I'm sure she is super excited! I wish her much success in the future as well!!!
