I have been recycling Christmas cards that I/ve received that depict the true meaning of Christmas - those that feature the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph or just Mary and baby Jesus. I'm loving how they turned out. The basic card is always the same but the colors and the pictures are all different.

O HOLY NIGHT
I used SSS arched door die on a piece cut to 4"x5 1/4"- centered the picture behind it and then mounted on an A2 card base. Added the die cut stars and the sentiment and done. Sentiment is from Hero Arts but no longer available. Easy way to recycle those old cards you've received!
Crafty Hugs,
CHRISTMAS ANGEL
My friend, a "Mary Kay lady", asked me to make some special cards (5) for her Mary Kay friends. She wanted an angel and the colors pink, silver and pearl. It took me awhile to create a card I liked and thought she would also - and finally came up with this.

I used SSS vine canopy, Spellbinders arches and a Papertrey angel. I added a little foam square under her wings to keep them popped up. The little pearls on her dress came from Amazon. The pink background is Concord and 9th ballet slipper cardstock.
I think she turned out pretty cute and was quite easy to reproduce once designed.
