CHRISTMAS SENTIMENTS
The challenge at Merry Monday this week is to have a sentiment as the focal point of your card and Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge is to use at least one die cut - so think I have both of these challenges pretty well covered!!
The "merry" is a die from Hero Arts and the "christmas" is from Julie Ebersoles's Merry & Bright stamp set. Added some gold sequins and snowflakes from my stash and done! I used Stick-it on the die cuts and drew diagonal lines to position them straight. Used my MISTI to stamp 'cause I certainly didn't want to mess up all that die cutting. The cardstock is Neenah metallic in chalice silver and white gold.
Thanks for stopping by today and your kind comments.
What an awesome job of lining up those die cuts, Betty! This is amazing and I LOVE it! Thanks for sharing it with us at Merry Monday!

WOW...absolutely beautiful card Betty! I love how the bold white "Merry" pops against the silver background, and the gold accents are just the perfect finishing touch! Truly beautiful card!! :0)
ReplyDeleteI'll say!! Love your repeated "Merry" :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is so, so pretty! I'm not sure what Stick-It is, but will investigate as it sounds like it might be a more tidy alternative to glue (which is what I use).

Back again to say thank you!! I found Stick-It at Simon Says Stamp and also found a quick tutorial about it. I've added it to my shopping cart for the next time I place an order. I'm so excited to give it a go - so thank you for mentioning it!!
