I usually don't buy kits from stamp companies because I never seem to use all the stuff that comes with the kit and one time the kit from a well known company was just all thrown in a box and the papers were bent (they wouldn't make good on them either). But in May I really loved MFT's Flashy Floral kit - and it came beautifully wrapped in a great box. So the other day I finally took it all out and started creating. Jennifer McGuire had a video about mass producing cards with the MISTI and that was my inspiration for my first card.
I used the sentiment for WPlus9's Sending stamp set which I stamped in black and clear embossed. I'll either add the rest of sentiment on the front or inside when needed. Made these in pinks and blues also.
My next card is an "inside out" card - really like this technique and have made several cards in the past like this.
Will put the sentiment on the inside for this one and also did several of these.
My last card uses the The Ton's "sending" and the rest of the sentiment is from the WPlus9 set. This is also stamped in black and clear embossed. The card base is PTI's soft stone and added a few raindrops.
Love to read your kind comments and thanks for visiting today.
Three beautiful cards Betty. Such pretty items from your kit ... and looks like you have put it to good use already. xx
ReplyDeleteOh, Betty, these are lovely! This is my current favorite flower set, and you've given me lots of fun ideas to try down the road!
ReplyDeleteThree gorgeous cards, Betty - great use of your kit! I'm not much for kits either (except Hero Arts ones) but I'll look into the MFT ones based on your cards. Hope you're having a great summer!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. They are all amazing! Each one is so unique and pretty
ReplyDeleteStunning cards Betty. Just love that last one. I think I need to get some raindrops. They look spectacular on the card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms all around Betty. Fabulous cards.
ReplyDeleteFabulous Betty - you really went to town :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning Betty! Kits are great when you need a quick card in a hurry, aren't they? Sorry I haven’t been around the blogs much since my return, but,on top of all the usual things to catch up on, and apart from the fact that my 90 year old mother's kitchen ceiling had come down and needed to get sorted out, we are on VERY limited broadband and no land-line, as, the water-board company cut through the telephone cable, when they had to repair a water pipe!! They now inform me it could be up to 7-10 days until we are back to 'normal'. Have a great upcoming weekend! Hazel xx

Wow--you were on a roll, Betty! I really do love your style--all are wonderful, but the last one has my heart with the pink & gray!
ReplyDeleteI don't buy kits for the same reason, but I can see that this one is a great one! All these cards are so pretty! Love all these pretty flowers! Such a great variety!
