The cue card at CASology this week is "candle". For my card I just made my own candle as I don't have any candle stamps.
I cut the candle from some gold glitter stripe paper and freehand cut the flame from gold. The poinsettia and leaves were embossed in gold on vellum and fussy cut - the pine branches die cut. Made my arrangement and added the small sentiment. The card base is some Neenah white gold metallic and was cut 4"x5.5" so I could have the branches off the edge.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Betty, I just love the composition and elegance of this card! The diagonal stripes on your candle are so striking against the delicate cluster poinsettia leaves. They look so pretty overhanging the edge of the card too. Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week with this beauty, Betty!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully thought out design, Betty! I love that your narrower card base allows elements to extend off the edge. Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!
