The challenge this month at The Flower Challenge is "background" - so I made three cards using the same technique with my MISTI. I am also entering the first card in CAS on Friday where the theme is "birthday".
I used the third layer from Altenew's layered lily for the background which is white embossed. Coordinating inks from Altenew were used for the colored flowers. Added some Nuvo drops in colors that matched and done.
Thanks for stopping by and love your kind comments.
All three are stunning Betty! Have a lovely weekend! Luv & Hugs. Hazel xx

Great way to use those stamps Betty, they make for such a wonderfully interesting background.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Betty - well done on the background, it is fabulous :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and I have this stamp set, given to me by a friend. I've never been quite sure how I wanted to use it, but I love your ideas and cards. I'm still spending lots of time in PT for my knee and making progress. Mostly, I'm just coloring the fronts of some cards I stamped with colored pencils, but hope to be doing more soon. Best wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and colors. Thanks for sharing.

So creative & beautifully done, Betty! You've reminded me to use that lily stamp & what a great background the third layer makes!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Betty. I would never of thought to white emboss one layer only.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background for the pretty flowers
ReplyDeleteThe Altenew lily is one of my favourites and oh, how I love the trio of gems you've created with it here! Stunning, all!
