A good friend of mine asked me to make a card for her dad's 90th birthday and what better time to use my new fishy stamps.
I created the background using my blender brushes and some distress inks (broken china, faded jeans and iced spruce)-using those brushes makes creating the background a snap!! Then I added the grasses and weeds and little stones along the bottom using different shades of green inks (HA forever green, green hills, and field greens) - some I stamped some twice for more intense color. The stones and bubbles were stamped with HA soft granite. l thought the fish that came with the set were a little too cutesy for an older man so used a fish die cut with green and silver paper. Added the little sentiment and mounted on the new HA nautical cardstock.
