Another last entry for CAS Mix-Up acrylics challenge and also some homework for the latest Altenew Academy class - Layering Dies 3D. This card uses another piece of my acrylic salad spinner paper albeit only a small bit.
After die cutting the solid butterfly from the stitched background piece, I adhered that to the card base. Then I inlaid the acrylic piece and finally the matching lacy butterfly attaching it only in the center. Added the small sentiment and done.
Finally, thanks to Bonnie and Loll for making me go outside my box with acrylics on my cards.

Gorgeous butterfly and card Betty. I love the spun piece you created in the Salad Spinner too! Thanks for sharing again at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteBetty this is stunning!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog, no I didn't invent foiling w/ get technique. I saw a youTube video about it. It's a great way to foil without the machine. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are rocking these acrylics for sure! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness--such a beauty! The butterfly die was a great choice!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the rich colour of your card base Betty! So pretty with the layered butterfly over top of your spun acrylics. This is a great technique! Thanks again for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeletewhat a stunner. I don't have a salad spinner but think that once the lockdown is over I'll have to source one so I can try this.
