I haven't played in the Fusion Challenge for ages - look at all the challenges, think I must join in, the days go by and it doesn't happen. This week tho they had me at the blue butterfly - such a gorgeous inspiration photo.
I reworked an alcohol inked background to achieve a pale wispy look - die cut the butterfly from the original background. When I redid the background I used some celestial pearl ink - so pretty in real life. The card base is a champagne metallic - you can kind of see the shine on the top of the card. I really wanted the focus to be on the butterfly and the ethereal background, so just used a tiny sentiment. Added a little gold thread to my butterfly for some glam and done.
Thanks for stopping by.
