BE MY VALENTINE

Hero Arts has a challenge to create a card that is "Inspired By..." one of their designers.  I chose a card by Emily Midgett - it was one of her twenty minute cards she did for Christmas where she did some blending on a background and used a cover plate.

I began with a card base of peony cs and blended DO festive berries, picked raspberry and worn lipstick.  Added the die cut along with the sentiment and a few rose gold sequins.  I black stamped the sentiment and clear embossed it.  Then I used festive berries DO to color the background to match.  My card took a bit longer than twenty minutes, but to reproduce it again would be pretty quick.

I am also going to enter my card at Die Cut Divas where the theme is "Anything Goes".

Thanks for visiting today.
