CAS Christmas wants "plaid" as the main theme for their challenge this month and I created another card using a similar design as the one I did the other day.

This time I made a landscape card with the same plaid overlay for the background.  I had some green and white plaid pp but wanted it to be all green, so sponged rustic wilderness DO over it before die cutting the leaves.  Sponged lots of green on the same paper before cutting out the sentiment.  Shadowed the sentiment with some black and then added the smaller sentiment.  Arranged some gold sequin berries and done.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Betty, this is another winner! That is such a beautiful wreath and the size is fantastic! Once again you will have me looking at other plaids and being inspired to use die cuts for more fabulous cards! Thank you once again for sharing and joining us at CAS Christmas! We always love your inspiration!

  2. Just gorgeous Betty. The green plaid leaves look amazing as the wreath.

  3. Beautiful card Betty! Very creative to sponge green over your plaid to create a two-toned green plaid for your wreath. It looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!

  4. Oh wow--really love this one, Betty! That paper was perfect for the wreath with your added green ink!

  5. This is such a beautiful card, Betty! I love your plaid leaves and your overlay serves as the perfect background! Congrats on being chosen as a 'Top Pick' at CAS Christmas...we're so glad you played along with us again ~ xx
