Today Karen has a great challenge over at the Hero Arts discussion group - it's open until 9:30PM PST tomorrow nite so there's still plenty of time to join in the fun and maybe win a nice prize from Karen or Hero Arts.

The challenge is to make a card using solids and outlines, photograph and post within 90 minutes.

I used the flowers from the HA April monthly kit for my outline and the leaves from Stamp Your Own Plant, plus sentiments from the HA Prayers Stamp & Cut.  I gave the flowers a little color with a copic - B000.  Added a few clear sequins for a little pizazz - done and dusted in 70 minutes (including taking the photo and posting).
I was also thinking about A Blog Named Hero's challenge for this month which is to use "pop of color".  There's still time to enter that challenge also.

All for tonite - thanks for visiting and love to read your kind comments.

  1. Beautiful prayers card, Betty - just love the soft blue on your outline flowers with the solid leaves!!

  2. You must be home--hope it was a fun time away, Betty! This is one stunningly beautiful card--perfect stamping! Wanted to make something yesterday but got stuck on something else, so now I better get with it!

  3. I really love this one Betty. The soft colour in the flowers is so pretty

  4. Very beautiful card Betty! Love the design with the soft blue adds for a bit of colour. Perfect design for a sympathy card. I'm so impressed that you could get this done in less than 90 minutes. xx

  5. Great choice of stamps for the challenge, and I really love how you paired it with your die cut sentiment, Betty! I'll bet the soft blue outline on the flowers is gorgeous in person!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave comments - they make my day!
