The current Color Hues Challenge wants just black and white on a card - so did a variation of a design I did earlier this week.

I first spattered the background of my black card with white gouache.  Die cut a bunch of leaves and flowers from white heavyweight cs and arranged on the background.  Popped up the centers of the flowers for some dimension.  Added black enamel dots in the flower centers and a sentiment and done.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. The perfect dies for a black & white card, Betty! Love the popped up centers & black dots! Sick for 24 hrs after my 2nd shot, but feeling good again today. So glad to have the protection & soon we can get together with family.

  2. Betty, I love how your die cut flowers and leaves are boldly designed and added to the spattered black background. Your design is perfectly balanced and so pretty! We're glad you love playing at Color Hues.

  3. Gorgeous trio of white flowers on the black, Betty!! Perfect with the splatter background!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave comments - they make my day!
