The other day as I was out walking, I found this leaf and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Then I remembered a favorite poem "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer.
So here's one more card for CAS Watercolour Challenge. The background piece was loosely watercolored with Kuretake Gamsai watercolors. Die cut the leaf from some of my Target copper paper and then embossed. Added a little sentiment embossed in copper metallic and some vellum leaves. To paraphrase Kilmer -
Cards are made by fools like me
But only God can make a leaf.
I am also entering this in Virginia's October challenge where she asks us to use a focal point and Paper Players CAS leaf challenge.
Thanks for visiting today - your comments make me happy.
Your soft and delicate colours for your watercolour background are just perfect with copper. The embossing on the leaf add lots of texture and dimension. Beautiful card Betty. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour. xx
