Flowers, stripes and stencils are the three items I chose to use for my Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge entry this week. I also am entering this in The Flower Challenge where the challenge is summer/winter flowers-obviously these are my summer flowers.
I die cut my sunflowers from three shades of coral and then used distress inks to do some shading on them - same for the leaves. I did the stripes with a stencil and black soot DO ink. Arranged my bouquet on the stripes, added the sentiment, a few enamel dots and done.
Beautiful pair of sunflowers, Betty! Just love the partial stripes behind; clever to use a striped stencil :)
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful card Betty. Love the design and those sunflowers are stunning.
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are so pleasing, Betty, love the dimension! The stripes behind are a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteI love red sunflowers and these capture that feeling. Love the faded stripes too.

ReplyDeleteI planned to use that row, but didn't get it done. You've made another beautiful floral card, Betty! I love your stripes & what neat floral dies!
ReplyDeleteThe coral shade of your sunflowers is beautiful and I really like how the stripes fad off on the right side. Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at the Tic Tac Toe challenge this week!
