I decided to make some Christmas tags for our A Blog Named Hero "glitter/sparkle" challenge this month.
Began by die cutting some tags from kraft cs, giving them an embossed background and using some brown ink on the edges for some definition. Had the little wooden snowflakes in my stash for ages and they became my sparkle element. I smooshed them into my Versamark pad, liberally covered them with gold glitter powder and heat embossed. The "Merry" sentiment was die cut from glitter paper and the "Merry Christmas" sentiment was stamped in black and clear heat embossed for some more shine.
Add some sparkle to your cards and enter them here for a chance to win one of two gift vouchers from Hero Arts!
I am entering the snowman tag at Christmas Kickstart (embossing and a stamp) and also at Let's Squash It (embossing and a stamp).
Thanks for stopping by today.
Fabulous tags, Betty - just love the little wooden snowflakes!! Whenever I see that snowman ef, I remember getting one from Tim Holtz before they were on the market. How many times have I used it? I think once - you've really inspired me to give it another try!! Love the embossed snowflakes too!!
