A friend asked me to make an 80th birthday card and here's what I designed for her.
I had a difficult time photographing the closeup of the hidden "80" (looks like a different color background) but you can get the idea. My card is a combo of this card and one by Therese. Inside the sentiment is "and fabulous!".
Thanks for visiting today.
This is so elegant and beautiful Betty!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful card, but I've tried and tried and can't see the hidden "80"!
ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn - if you look at the bottom half of the closeup below and to either side of the 2 blue sequins you can see the outline of the "80" - and thanks for your comment - always appreciated.
DeleteA gorgeous card for such a special occasion! Love this, Betty!
ReplyDeleteAnd--Big congrats on the win at CASology, Betty--well-deserved!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Betty.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful with blue pop'up
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and elegant with the metallic embossing.
ReplyDeleteYour hidden 80 is amazing, Betty! Beautiful embossing on these flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I have seen this material but I never thought about using it this way. I am glad I came across this post. It is my sister’s bridal shower party and I am making the invites. I have also booked one of the finest venues in NYC for the event and this is how I am going to make the invites now.
