MFT Summer School 2018 this past week gave me just the impetus to get creating again. Each lesson was such a good reminder of the elements of good design or ways to make your cards more pleasing to the eye. I really enjoyed all of them. So here goes my homework!
Day 1: Monochromatic
Day 2: Visual Triangle
Day 4: Rainbow
Day 5: Ombre
On several I didn't add a sentiment merely because I wanted to save them for a suitable occasion. Since this post is so photo heavy, I'm not adding any other explanations.
Thanks for stopping by and love to read your kind comments.

WOW, Betty you sure did get you mojo back! You've graduated with honors showing this lovely bunch of homework cards. Good idea to hold back the sentiments and wait for the appropriate occasion sentiment. (Sometimes I just lay the sentiment on the card for the photo and wait until later to decide what its really going to be. Shhhh don't tell. lol)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cat--you're on the honor roll! Beautifully crafted cards, Betty--every one of them! I thought the visual triangle was my favorite, but I love the rainbow (modern, artsy & beautiful) & the ombre in pinks with that gorgeous flower & perfect die for the background really has my heart! I've been known to temporarily attach a sentiment for the picture, too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you for completing this class, Betty...you get an A+ from me! Every one of your cards is beautiful...great color choices and lovely designs! My fave is your Ombre card, but I love them all and I am always inspired by your floral designs! Good luck with the drawing :)
ReplyDeleteGreat set of cards, Betty!! Especially love the rainbow card!!
ReplyDeleteAll your cards are fabulous, Betty, but I especially love the stripes/flowers combinations. I think I will CASE them for my next stamping class, with my own little touches. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou have made a stunning collection of cards here Betty! I love each and every one of them, but especially the second and third!1 Have a lovely day my friend Hazel xx
