BLUE SPARKLE

A few weeks ago, Jennifer Mcguire shared some alcohol inking techniques on glitter paper.  Loved the effect so much, I had to have a go.

I first inked up some white glitter paper with various shades of blue alcohol ink.  From one sheet of 6x6 paper I was able to make three cards - two with the HA rolling hills die and one using the leftovers for trees.  I die cut several more little trees to add to the rolling hills scene and added a few snowflake sequins around the edge to add to the night sky.  The sentiment is a retired one from Concord & 9th.  The background for the line of trees is SSS forest border 3D embossing folder.  Die cut the glittered trees and added to the foreground.  Gold sequins for the tree toppers and a little sentiment finished it off.

A Blog Named Hero's current challenge is "glitter/sparkle"  - maybe these will give you a little inspiration to make a sparkly card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
